HSC Distinguished Achievers Awards 2022

The World Lebanese Cultural Union (WLCU) of Sydney will be presenting its Annual HSC Distinguished Achievers Awards to our Australian Lebanese youth, who have achieved outstanding results in the 2021 HSC.  This includes all students with Lebanese ancestry, on either side of their family.

We would like to extend an invitation to all students of Lebanese ancestry who have received an ATAR of 95 and above, to attend our event on Thursday evening 7th April 2022 at the Roundhouse, UNSW. This event is held to recognise the hard work and excellence of students in the 2021 HSC.

All high achievers will be formally awarded a certificate of merit and a copy of Khalil Gibran’s book ‘The Prophet’.  Also, the top performing students, will receive monetary awards and a sterling silver WLCU coin. We will also be presenting two President’s All Rounder Awards. The criteria for this award are an ATAR above 90, along with achievements in, but not limited to, Community Service, Leadership, Sports and the Arts.

While tickets are $100 per person, including a three-course meal, award recipients can attend for free. We would be grateful if you could forward us the names of those students whom you may wish to nominate for this year’s awards. A nomination form is on the second page and includes an email and phone number for any enquiries. The event will be held on Thursday evening 7th April 2022 at 7.00 pm at the Roundhouse, UNSW and nominations close on 25th March 2022.
