The WLCU Sydney was one of many financial sponsors of “An Evening with Dr Charles Malik” on 12 December 2022, held at Australian Catholic University, Sydney. The event was organised by The Friends of Dr Charles Malik Committee Australia & Notre Dame University, Lebanon. The evening saw close to 200 people, including many dignitaries, gathering for the Australian screening of the film Charles Malik: A Universal Person. WLCU Sydney President, Dr Shane Geha, was the MC for the evening.
The Museum of Beirut is a must see for anyone going to Lebanon. It contains over one thousand objects, all of which have been found only in Lebanon.
