Hope for Lebanon during challenging times
As head coach of Lebanon’s national rugby league team, the “Cedars”, Michael Cheika has an agenda beyond winning games. Cheika, a former rugby player and a WLCU Sydney member, is incredibly well credentialled having coached Australia’s national rugby union team, the Wallabies, and was awarded World Rugby Coach of the Year in 2015. Typical of an elite coach, Cheika is leveraging his love of Lebanon to lift the spirits of so many Lebanese at such a critical time. Providing a focal point on the world stage, will provide hope, enthusiasm, pride and a rallying point at such a crucial time. Cheika needs funds to support the Cedars and has a range of corporate sponsorship packages that will provide international exposure.
